Winter Sabbatical $65,000 Match

Hope Springs Institute is thrilled to announce that a group of committed donors launched a $65,000 matching challenge  to support our Winter Sabbatical pause. To date - through word of mouth - we've raised our first $10,000 in support of the match.

People are answering the call with their time, their resources, their love.

Now we need your help to raise the remaining $55,000 by March 31. Every dollar you give will be doubled, making your impact go twice as far.

While all donations support Hope Springs' overall sustainability, here are some examples of what different gift levels can accomplish:

$100 (becomes $200 with match) Covers utilities for a week during the winter—keeping the buildings heated and protected from freezing damage

$1,000 (becomes $2,000 with match) Covers the cost of repairing and staining the Studio deck, protecting it from weather damage and extending its life

$2,000 (becomes $4,000 with match) Funds part of the strategic planning consultation that's helping us build a sustainable business model

$10,000+ Makes possible major safety and critical infrastructure projects that ensure Hope Springs can function during power outages and emergencies.

These aren't hypothetical needs—they're real projects on our priority list. Some have been deferred for years. Others, like replacing aging appliances ($10,000 estimated for refrigerators, air conditioners, furnaces, washers, dryers, and dishwashers nearing end of life), septic system improvements, and accessibility upgrades are essential to keeping Hope Springs operational and welcoming.

Your gift—doubled through the match—directly invests in the infrastructure that makes Hope Springs possible.
