The Atlas Society was founded in 1990 with a mission to build on Objectivism, the philosophy originated by Ayn Rand, and inspire people to embrace reason, achievement, and benevolent and ethical self-interest as the moral foundation for political liberty, personal happiness, and a flourishing society.  We use creative means to reach new audiences, we welcome discussion and debate, and we recognize that Objectivism is open to further development.
