Double Your Impact This December!

Tis the season for giving, and NorSled hopes to be on your nice list this year. We know donation requests can feel overwhelming—especially in challenging economic times—so we’re making end-of-year giving a little easier. Throughout December, every dollar donated will be matched by our sponsors, up to $10,000. That means your gift goes twice as far for the dogs who need us most. 

NorSled is 100% volunteer-run, and every single donation dollar goes directly to the dogs—covering vet bills, medications, food, supplies, and kenneling costs. 

This year alone, we’ve rescued 81 dogs from shelters and the streets. Many were labeled “Rescue Only” due to medical needs or fear, others were within hours of euthanasia, and some were abandoned outright. Thanks to our community, 65 have already found loving homes. But right now, 34 are in foster care and 20 are still waiting in boarding kennels longing for homes of their own. 

The rescue crisis often feels like fighting a forest fire with an eyedropper. Yet every time someone fosters, adopts, volunteers, or donates, one more patch of fire is extinguished. Together, we can keep hope alive for these dogs.
