Pet Project Foundation (PPF) has supported the San Clemente–Dana Point Animal Shelter for more than 40 years through a unique nonprofit–municipal partnership that ensures every lost, abandoned, and homeless pet receives compassionate, pro-humane care—no matter how long it takes to find a permanent home.
Your generosity directly funds 100% of all medical care for animals at the shelter, including emergency surgeries, diagnostic testing, medications, treatment for injured or neglected pets, and spay/neuter services. PPF also provides food, enrichment, foster program support, and helps offset essential shelter staffing costs, ensuring consistent, high-quality care every day.
More than 25,000 volunteer hours are donated annually by PPF supporters, providing hands-on help, comfort, and attention to animals who need it most.
In addition to daily care, PPF is actively working to build a low-cost spay/neuter surgical center, increasing access to critical veterinary services and reducing pet overpopulation in our community.
When you give to Pet Project Foundation—whether through cash, stock, donor-advised funds, or other gifts—you are directly saving lives and creating brighter futures for animals in need.
