The specific purpose of Metaphormosa (501(c)(3)) is to support, promote, and preserve Taiwanese culture and heritage through the creation, funding, and presentation of visual, performance, and interactive artworks. The corporation shall develop and facilitate cultural programming that highlights Taiwanese identity, history, and artistic expression, including but not limited to art installations, community events, and educational initiatives.

As part of this mission, the corporation may sponsor cultural exhibits and artworks—such as art cars and installations—at public events and gatherings, including the annual Burning Man event, to broaden awareness and appreciation of Taiwanese culture within diverse communities.
