Odemini Danakiiwining  “Heart Berry House”

The word in Ojibwemowin “Ode’imin” translates to “Heart Berry” (strawberry). At the heart of our work is a vision to build the best possible life for our people. The heart berry reseeds not by the seed but the vine, reaching up and out to grow in abundance.

We are an Ojibwe led language forward learning space focused on our cultural seasonal lifeways. Honoring our role in the seven generations, we gather community around skills, knowledge, and our land and water to build a new world. We bring together knowledge holders and our next generations of Elders to seed cultural curiosity that sprouts cultural efficacy and mastery. Through this mastery we build the new knowledge holders and teachers who will lead the next world as it grows.
